The Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives is seeking applicants for the 2010 MONE Scholarship Award. The program is committed to supporting well-qualified applicants aspiring to lead the nursing profession and offers $1,500 to the successful candidate.
Applicants, who must apply by July 30, have to meet the following criteria to be eligible for consideration:
? Be a resident of Maryland.
? Be pursuing an initial graduate degree in an academic program for nursing administration or management.
? Hold a bachelor?s degree in nursing and have completed at least 12 credit hours of graduate-level credits.
? Be practicing nursing in Maryland.
Each applicant should submit a typed letter with his or her personal/contact information, including name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and Social Security number; current employer?s name, address and telephone number; current position title and number of years in that position; educational background, including all completed programs, beginning with the basic nursing program, with degree obtained and institution?s name; current educational program with institution?s name and address, program?s title and director, date of entry and anticipated date of completion.
