The goal of this presentation is to determine the role of the nursing/healthcare team locally and nationally across the care continuum and what innovative roles are emerging in accountable care organizations. Upon completion of the webinar, learners will be able to:
  • Analyze the impact the patient protection and affordable care act has had on the role of the RN, APRN, and SW
  • Describe various innovative roles for RNs, APRNs, and SWs
  • Determine what roles might be best for you and how to obtain the skills and education needed for these roles based on your clinical background
