Overview
The goal of this course is to provide nurses preparing for the CRRN examination on illness, pharmacology, sexual function, and technology in healthcare.Goals and Learning Outcomes
This course is part of a series that prepares nurses for the Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse Exam (CRRN®) exam. In this course, you will learn that the physiology and management of health, injury, and acute and chronic illness is a specialized role for the rehabilitation registered nurse. Understanding basic pharmacology and its role in improving rehabilitation goals, alterations in sexual functioning and reproduction for the rehabilitation patient, and the technological advances within the rehabilitation community are crucial to success.
The goal of this course is to provide nurses preparing for the CRRN examination with information regarding the various stages of illness, pharmacology, alterations in sexual function, and the impact of technology in healthcare.
- Recall the physiology, development stages, and management of various health conditions encompassing sexual health and acute and chronic illnesses.
- Recognize basic pharmacology and its role in rehabilitation.
- Recall general patient education and technology in rehabilitation.
