Overview
Nurse.com is pleased to present the ELNEC Critical Care Curriculum in partnership with the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC).
ELNEC is a national education initiative to improve palliative care. ELNEC Critical Care Curriculum is designed to train nurses, undergraduate and graduate nursing faculty, administrators, and researchers on fundamental palliative skills with a focus on their application in the critical care setting.
Goals and Learning Outcomes
Courses included in this package include:
- ELNEC Critical Care Module 1: Palliative Nursing in Critical Care (1.25 hours)
- ELNEC Critical Care Module 2: Pain Management (2 hours)
- ELNEC Critical Care Module 3: Symptom Management (2 hours)
- ELNEC Critical Care Module 4: Ethics in Palliative Nursing (1 hour)
- ELNEC Critical Care Module 5: Cultural and Spiritual Considerations in Serious Illness (1.25 hours)
- ELNEC Critical Care Module 6: Communication (1.25 hours)
- ELNEC Critical Care Module 7: Loss, Grief, and Bereavement (1.25 hours)
- ELNEC Critical Care Module 8: Final Hours (1.5 hours)
