Overview
The goal of this presentation is to introduce nurses to the use of research to support a nursing practice that is evidence-based and to review the differences between research, evidence-based projects, and process improvement. Since nurses are accountable for outcomes, they need to be competent in not only understanding evidence-based practice (EBP) but also applying EBP.
