Overview
The purpose of this course is to prepare learners for preceptor specialty practice and add valuable material to their Preceptor Competency-Based Portfolios.Goals and Learning Outcomes
- Identify at least three professional preceptor attributes and work skills.
- Describe the role of preceptors in building team relationships.
- Discuss verbal and nonverbal communication in preceptorships.
- Discuss how primary preceptors help preceptees develop professional work skills and relationships.
- Describe the role of self-efficacy in preceptorships.
