The Joint Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals program provides nurses safe care guidelines for hospitalized patients, thus meeting TJC’s and employers’ requirements. Nurses do not always receive adequate education about current NPSGs. This updated CE module provides information for increasing knowledge on the subject and describes NPSG intents and elements of performance (requirements).
