Overview
Overview
Stroke is the fifth-leading cause of death in the U.S. While 87% of strokes are the result of ischemia, only one drug is approved for acute treatment and then only within a narrow treatment window. Research is key to developing new treatments and preventive strategies. This educational activity will address the clinical trial process and the roles and implications for nurses caring for participants in trials.
