What does a clinical warm handoff approach look like in real life? The state of Pennsylvania has provided a pathway for warm handoff from the emergency department to substance use disorder treatment in order to fight the opioid epidemic. Learn about the process, successes, concerns, and overall outcomes of warm handoffs to drug treatment as seen in Pennsylvania’s collaborative approach to tackle substance misuse.
